農曆新年歡天喜地的大日子，本台誠意推出鬥智開心喜劇【吉星高照】，讓觀眾在農曆新年一家人開開心心慶祝新春！

此劇故事以民初為背景，講述廣東民間傳奇狀師陳夢吉的故事。陳夢吉博學多才、聰明絕頂、能言善辨、古靈精怪，被譽為廣東第一橋王及第一大狀。但雖然陳夢吉言行古怪，但他人地善良、疾惡如仇，而且好打不平、救助弱勢，專門為民伸冤與惡霸、貪官污吏對簿公堂，深得民眾愛戴。

此劇男主角陳夢吉由曾演出《狀王宋世傑》的「棟篤笑」諧星張達明擔任，此次再受邀再演狀師，張達明提及兩者分別時說得頭頭是道：「宋世傑和陳夢吉有很多不同之處，宋世傑比較正經，屬於正劇。而陳夢吉則玩世不恭、尖酸刻薄一些，但他內心卻是善良的。對我來說，演陳夢吉會更有挑戰，這個角色更加立體化。」

劇中另一頭號搞笑人物相信是朱咪咪，她在電影《審死官》中扮演「奶媽」深入人心，而在此劇則飾演貪慕虛榮的岳母，不喜歡陳夢吉非來自大富大貴之家，因此常常出難題刁難女婿，引發許多讓人啼笑皆非的鬧劇。

此劇由香港著名資深影視製作人黎文卓監製、查傳誼導演，並由香港觀眾熟悉的演員張達明、趙榮、黃一飛、朱咪咪、黃一山、呂晶晶等主演，強勁超級的爆笑組合，絕對能爆發開心笑彈，增添農曆新年氣氛！

此劇於內地首播時，收視創出佳績，節節領先收視榜首，成為眾多電視劇中的冠軍。
