Hai Yang, a wealthy entrepreneur died after being beaten by his own brother, Hai Liang (Damien Lau). Hai Xing (Raymond Lam), son of Hai Yang vows to revenge his father. Hai Xing awaits opportunity together with best friend, Lin Da (Bosco Wong) to strike back at Hai Liang. Relationship turns sour in the midst of love relationship between the two friends. Hai Xing’s fiance Yao Qun (Vionn Song) and assistance, Li Jing (Zhao Ziqi). As time passes, Li Jing and Hai Xing started liking each other.

By chance, Lin Da discover Hai Xing’s birth father is actually Hai Liang. Lin Da using his other company plots to acquire Hai Xing’s company. Hai Xing discovers Lin Da’s betrayal and discovers his real identity. With the help of Li Jing, the war of acquisition follows…

Lin Da uses Hai Liang's daughter Macy Hoi (Toby Leung) to help him on his plots, but at the same time has a crush on Li Jing.
